You may remember back in the spring i paid a little
visit to a cute as a button shop over on 36th St named Plum Boutique. Well, i'm here to update you on their name change. Welcome
Candy Plum into existence! Same great items, just new name. This Sunday Aug 20th, they are having a partay to celebrate their article in Sunday's NY Times. From 12-5pm come shop as you nibble on some cookies and toast their up and coming-ness with some champagne!
Oh yeah, they are always looking for homegrown designers to seel their goods on consignment. Can you say neighborhood treasure????

I am SO checking this place out, first chance I get! We've got Loveday 31 over near us, but more consignment boutiques never hurt anyone! Thanks for the tip, flooz! Now let's go shopping!
its actually around the corner from Loveday i think. i want to check them out and also another place on Vernon thats supposed to be cool!
ready set shop!
SORRY.... THE WEBSITE IS CALLED RETAILDISH.COM
for reviews about the store called Candy Plum.
There are some not so very nice things about this store and the stores owner.
I am a designer with candy plum and a customer . I have only had a positive experience and I also gave them a positive marking on that site retaildish. Which personally I have found is the same bunch on cranky people complaining. But that just me. I would recommend this store to any one of my friend. Oh and buy stuff:)Bejewlled and I am a local designer ..
i'm going through hell trying to get paid for my items that sold. the first check mysteriously just didn't come in the mail. the second one hasn't come. $28 has been taken out of my pay for shipping 3 wrinkled shirts back to me. it's great to buy local but i wouldn't support this boutique. i have nothing good to say about candy plum or the way they have handled their business. i can recommend a plethora of boutiques who respect and pay their designers on time each month.
candy plum rocks .....i sell my tshirts and bags at candy plum....the only problem is that all the money i make selling there ends up going to buying cute stuff at the shop...
