Cold Vodka Goodness on a Hot Day

When we were away last week we visited the Dogfish Head Brewery. Thay make great beer and also their own vodka called Blue Hen Vodka.

We've got mint running rampant throughout the community garden, so Steve-o made this.

Nice!!! I am enjoying this drink on a perfect day as we watch the Mets lose... Two out of three ain't bad!

  3. I'm shopping for a good fresh pineapple and vodka drink myself. I thought this drink was a bit too lemony, but still quite nice.

Ah, life is rough for Mets fans, but I like to see them do well. They are our Queens bretheren after all.

Hey like Yogi said "It ain't over till it's over", as The Amazing's came back to win... I hope October will be a good month for The Mets and I don't mean on the golf course.

I've been grooving on the Dogfish IPA lately and was so pleased to find it at the C-Town on Broadway recently...

  9. Ah, funny - I have a friend Mike B that I refer to sometimes. Different one here, folks. We really call him that out of love for Mike D (of the Beastie Boys).

Here's the deal on the garden. There aren't any slots left, but some people aren't using theirs, so you should inquire. It's right around the corner from Sunswick - 35th between (35th Av & 36th Av).

I usually avoid CowTown (C-Town), but I'll definetely check out the Dogfish Head holdings. Thanks for the tip!

Sorry for the "mike b" confusion. :)

Not much reason to visit C-Town, really. The Dogfish Head isn't always there...

  11. heh - no worries. Mike B is just a good name!

We'll have to find an alternate DogFish Head supplier nearby. I wish some one carried thier "Raisen d' Etre".
