Just heard it thru the grapevine - Oleput is opening tomorrow, Saturday the 12th. Hooray! Dang, it took long enough. Word on the street is that they got their liquor license, and they'll be offering beer and wine, along with savories like cheese and sausages. Plus everything else they had before (sweets). It all equals one big YUM.
If I can, I'll mosey over there tomorrow, check it out and bring back a report.

walked by today... still looked closed. and i noticed that where they used to have the candy (on the shelves below the register), they now have lots of vintage paperback books individually wrapped in plastic.

They're open--stopped by last night, but still no booze flowing. They have the license but there was some kind of snafu with a zoning fee or something....
